I almost died today...

So, I was driving along Cross Park Dr. this evening and glanced at the clock. When I glanced back up the SUV in front of me was stopped, and very close. Maybe one car length away. I hit the break and swerve aiming for the curb and small uphill embankment on my right. My car goes over the embankment barely missing two saplings, and stops in the parking lot like nothing happened. I get out, partly to calm down, partly to walk around and make sure nothing is dangling off under my car. That's when I started laughing slightly hysterically. Other than a mini-coronary and some strange looks from other drivers, everything was fine. I know if I had hit the SUV I would have totalled my car. Scared the hell out of me!

Saturday night

I was going to get to go out tonight. I have a sitter lined up and possibly a date with new guy. But yesterday I woke up feeling a little yucky. It got worse as the day went on. I have a cold. An I-don't-want-to-do-anything-but-lay-here cold. My head is stuffy, my nose is only half working, and my throat hurts. This was my first chance in a month to go out, and it will probably be another month before I can go out. And I'm pouting. :(

I'm tired of being stuck home all the time, I feel like I've been stuck home all the time for years. Well, I guess I kinda have. It sucks.

Ok, complaining over. I'll try to restrain from blogging until I feel like sharing something nice.
