My 100th Post

Just a quick note to let everyone know I am still here. Today my oldest daughter turned eight. Time goes by so fast! We didn't have a party just a cake and presents. She got calls from some family, cards from others, and my sister and her husband stopped to visit with her on her special day.

I promise a longer post soon.

Happy 100th post and a Happy Birthday to your eldest. Eight is such an important age, too. I remember it as the very beginning of my understanding that the world is much larger and complex than I'd previously known, and that I would have a place in it independent of my parents. Heady stuff.
