Angel

by Sarah McLachlan
(the video should be playing on the sidebar)

Spend all your time waiting
for that second chance
for a break that would make it okay
there's always one reason
to feel not good enough
and it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction
oh beautiful release
memory seeps from my veins
let me be empty
and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight

in the arms of an angel
fly away from here
from this dark cold hotel room
and the endlessness that you fear
you are pulled from the wreckage
of your silent reverie
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort there

so tired of the straight line
and everywhere you turn
there's vultures and thieves at your back
and the storm keeps on twisting
you keep on building the lie
that you make up for all that you lack
it don't make no difference
escaping one last time
it's easier to believe in this sweet madness oh
this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees

in the arms of an angel
fly away from here
from this dark cold hotel room
and the endlessness that you fear
you are pulled from the wreckage
of your silent reverie
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort there
you're in the arms of the angel
may you find some comfort here

I scrolled down to find the video (it was playing), and I noticed your sparkly kitty! That's so cool.

Hey congrats on your fine finish in the caption contest! Now come play again, pretty kitty. :)

this song make sme want to cry.. and for a really stupid reason. I can't even remember the movie now, but it reminds me of that one with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage, where he's the angel.. and the whole story is just SO sad!! What the heck was that called??... GAH, going to google now...

I love this song! Sarah MacLaughan is so cool. This song was playing in the car when we were going to my moms funeral so its sad to me..but then my friend also played it in her wedding. So it is sad and happy. Just a really pretty song. I think I need this cd... :)
